What do I need to use the new Zona Bus?
How does it work?
Before coming to Barcelona

Register with Zona Bus, if you haven’t done so already.

Request a daily permit for the day of your visit.

If necessary, reserve the short-stop spaces on the map that require a booking.
Areas that require booking in advance:

Open the SPRO app.

Enter your daily permit code and vehicle number plate.

Arrive at the reserved area within the assigned time.
Once in Barcelona, at the stop or parking space

Record your arrival and departure using the SPRO app.

The fee will be automatically charged to the payment method provided.
Daily permit to use Zona Bus
Daily permits are the mandatory and individual per-day authorisations, that allow the organisers of coach tours to use the Zona Bus spaces in Barcelona for parking or short stops. It is not required for spaces in the intermodal transport category.
The cost of the permit is €35.00 per vehicle per day, as per the provisions of Tax Ordinance 3.12/2025; all requests must be handled via this website. You can start the procedure here.
The daily permit:
- Only authorises one vehicle (coach) identified with a specific number plate. Is valid only for the day indicated in the request.
- Allows parking or short stop operations (pick-up/drop-off) in the designated Zona Bus spaces. There are certain short-stop locations that require booking in advance as well as a daily permit. These locations are : Park Güell, Hospital de Sant Pau, Pedrera, Sagrada Família, Ciutat Vella, Port Olímpic, Drassanes and Font Màgica. You can check the location of these zones on the map.
- Is not necessary if you only want to use the intermodal spaces, provided that you do not need to use other spaces that do require them that day.

Font Màgica
The Font Màgica parking space is only open while fountain shows are running. The parking area is divided into two sectors, each marked with a panel that is lit up 30 minutes before the start of the shows.

- Sector B2: 30 spaces (Av. Ferrer i Guàrdia - mountain)

Park Güell
The Park Güell logistics platform is a parking space for coaches and tourist buses that helps tourist groups discover this cultural landmark. The parking space includes twenty spaces for coaches and can only be accessed on the day and time of the visit by acquiring the corresponding daily permit, and validating the Park Güell ticket locator during the purchase process.
